To mark the 80th anniversary of the events in Azaryčy, Heiner Wember from Deutschlandfunk radio conducted an interview with military historian Christian Hartmann, whose research focuses on the Wehrmacht activities on Soviet territory during the World War II. In the interview, Hartmann points out unresolved issues relating to the events in Azaryčy, in particular the question of how much blame the individual soldiers bore for the crimes.
