On March 19, 2024, the events near Azaryčy were commemorated in Belarus with a public memorial event. Numerous people gathered at the central memorial, on the former site of one of the camps, to keep the memory of those who died alive. Vladimir Gordienko, a survivor of the Azaryčy death camps, recounted his experiences and stated that
